There is no shortcut to be a good parents

“Oh, don’t cover him with a blanket, instead try to keep the room warm”

While raising children, I often remember the words of my grandfather and think how much valuable advice grandfather gave to all parents on the occasion of a winter!

The essence of parent education is in this advice.

Keeping the room warm was a bit hard and require more skill; But that was the real deal. Covering the baby’s body was a shortcut to comfort.

Children need a good environment to grow up well like love, openness, independence, freedom, appreciation, intimacy, care, respect, communication, sense of responsibility etc.

When we fall short of creating this environment, we try to take the shortcuts.

When we used to scold children like “If you don’t listen, I will beat you!” it became the shortcut;

Why are we not explaining to them what we are actually trying to say. Why is it important to listen to us, we have to try explaining consequences of not listening.

I know you are lying,so I will give you punishment! This is a shortcut.
