One out of every eight young people in the world suffers from hypertension. May 17 is known worldwide as World Hypertension Day. Let’s take a look at how hypertension, which used to be found only in adults or the elderly, now occurs in adolescence, what the consequences might be, and how it can be reduced.

For many reasons, the tone of the complaint is similar to that of any young child. Many things like career problems, problems at home, and personal problems start to be felt and then this youth becomes hyper. According to research in India, hypertension is found in 10 to 30 percent of young adults. One out of every eight young people in the world suffers from hypertension. May 17 is known worldwide as World Hypertension Day. It is important to know why hypertension, which used to occur only in adults or the elderly, now occurs in adolescence, what the consequences might be, and how to reduce it.

According to a survey, the main causes of hypertension are obesity, stress, and smoking. Obesity means being overweight which is dangerous in terms of health. There are some universal criteria for how old, how tall, and how much weight is right for health. This factor must be considered carefully for health reasons. The second reason is that smoking. The third and most important cause is mental stress. Other causes are biological, but the cause is psychological and very close to everyone. Everyone talks, tells, discusses, and gives advice about physical causes. But not everyone understands what is going on in their head and mind. If the stress at an early age is so extreme that it will affect your health, then someone should talk about it. So we’re going to focus more on that.

Why do you get stressed? Have all these problems that we see now existed before? Didn’t your parents face it? So why was physical health affected in this generation? The reason for this is simple. Your parents did not bring many problems to you. They tried their best not to let the hardships, hardships, and sufferings of their childhood come to an end. So when the time came for us to take care of our career, self-reliance, independence, family, responsibility, and social consciousness together, we naturally got bored. Even when I was in school, there was competition with others, in many cases, the study was complex, but we did not have enough idea that the biggest problems were in the outside world. It was not a gradual maturation process, but suddenly many responsibilities fell on you and you got stressed. This stress doesn’t come once, it keeps coming back now.

What was the result of all this? The health of the youth deteriorated. The youth on whose behalf the country is dreaming of the future is involved in facing health problems. Hypertension is the number one cause of stress in adolescents. The onset of guilty feelings about having the affair, in the first place, further zaps whatever energy the partner having the affair might still have left. If we want to break this cycle, we have to work on the root cause, stress. The stress of a career, the stress of family problems, the anxiety of marriage (whether you want to do it or not), the struggle to be independent, the friendships that fall behind in the pursuit of it all, the combined effect of grandchildren is hypertension! Everyone will have a different trick to avoid stress or to drain the stress that has come. But some very simple things can be done. Anything, problem, quarrel, or over-thinking should be stopped first of all. Before making any decision, ask yourself four different questions. Decide which problem to prioritize and think of only one problem at a time. If the decision is difficult, you should discuss it with people you trust, who are sure you will not give wrong advice. Every night before going to bed, you should get rid of all the quarrels of that day and go to bed. However, the stress that came after all this must be drained somewhere. Writing, speaking, dancing, shouting, listening to songs, taking a nap, going for a walk, etc., you can relieve stress in any of these ways. The most important thing is to pay attention to your own mental health. Acknowledging that you have stress, you can work out a solution by talking to a psychiatrist. Therefore, the first step is to pay attention to mental and physical health.
