3) Being friends with her boyfriend

If listening to her love story is not enough, you will eventually end up sacrificing whatever traces of self-respect you have left and be friends with her boyfriend as well. Deep inside you will realize that you are much better than him but you will never be able to say that upfront.

4) You would always be at her service

She would definitely treat you like a friend, philosopher and guide without whom her life is not complete. But you will never be good enough to be her love interest. You will eventually turn into that companion who would take her to parties and becomes her driver to bring her ice-cream.. You would certainly put your life on hold just to be at her service.

This toxic attachment will leave you with no time for other friends or even yourself. As a result of which this loneliness would become your constant companion throughout this time.

6) You would wait endlessly for a hint.

Despite all these difficulties, you would still hope for a miracle and wait endlessly for that one day when she would acknowledge your feelings. This hope, which by the way is very toxic, is the thing that keeps you going and you end up planning for a relationship that only exists in your head as imagination.
